Reading and the Thames Valley are home to many UK and regional head offices, particularly in technology and professional services. Print for a head office tends to serve many audiences at once: staff across several sites, customers, partners and event delegates. Fretwell produces that work at our single factory in Keighley, West Yorkshire.
We have no Reading office. We work with internal communications, marketing and events teams there remotely and deliver finished work to each site that needs it.
One brand standard across every site
When the same brochure, report or poster is used in several offices, small differences in colour or stock are noticed. Producing it in one place helps keep it consistent. Our Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 75 B2 litho press runs with Inpress Control and Axis Control colour management, and our digital presses handle short runs and site-specific versions from the same design.
Employee communications are a good example: a welcome pack, policy booklet or benefits guide may need a version per site or business unit. We can print those as one job and deliver to each location, rather than briefing several local printers.
Events and customer mailings
Conferences, product launches and partner events need print to arrive together and on time: programmes, signage, roller banners and delegate packs. Large-format print and finishing are in-house, so the printed pieces and the display graphics can be planned as one order.
For customer mailings that use personal data, we hold ISO 27001 certification for information security alongside ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Our data team can prepare files, print personalised pieces, enclose on Buhrs lines and sort eligible UK mail for Royal Mail Mailmark.

Getting from Reading to our printworks
Reading is roughly 210–230 miles from Keighley by road, commonly around four hours or more depending on traffic. Production is at Goulbourne Street, Keighley BD21 1PX only. Finished work can be delivered to one or several sites, or mailed direct; remote briefing is the usual starting point.
