Brighton has a large community of design studios and creative agencies, many producing print for clients they never want to hand over to a supplier. Fretwell works behind the scenes for agencies like these, producing litho, digital print and direct mail at our factory in Keighley, West Yorkshire, under our own white-label trade service.
We are not in Brighton and do not claim to be. Agencies and organisations brief us remotely, and we deliver finished work to them or mail it straight to the people it is meant for.
White-label print for creative agencies
Our trade service is unbranded and available under NDA. Packaging, delivery notes and correspondence can be kept free of our name, so your client sees your agency as the supplier. You keep the relationship and the design work; we handle production, finishing and, where needed, data preparation and mailing.
Agency briefs vary from a short run of portfolio books to a national mailing for a client. Our Heidelberg Versafire and Konica Minolta AccurioPress digital presses suit short runs and personalisation, while our Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 75 handles larger litho runs. Finishing such as lamination, foil and spot UV is in-house.
Charities and independent brands
Brighton and Sussex charities often mail supporters across the country. We can produce appeal packs, newsletters and acknowledgement letters, personalise them from your data, enclose them on Buhrs lines and sort eligible UK mail for Royal Mail Mailmark.
Independent brands in the city may want packaging, swing tags or inserts that reflect their values. We hold FSC chain-of-custody and ISO 14001 certification and can discuss uncoated or recycled stocks for pieces where a natural feel matters more than a high-gloss finish.

Getting from Brighton to our printworks
Brighton is roughly 265–290 miles from Keighley by road, commonly five hours or more depending on traffic. All production is at Goulbourne Street, Keighley BD21 1PX. We work with Brighton clients remotely and deliver or mail the finished items.
