Responsible Print & Direct Mail for Bristol
Bristol is home to many creative agencies and national charities, and to organisations that care how their print is made. Fretwell produces commercial print, packaging and direct mail at our single factory in Keighley, West Yorkshire, with FSC chain of custody and ISO 14001 environmental management in place.
We are a long way from Bristol and say so plainly: there is no local office or collection point. For campaigns going out across the UK, though, the location of the printer matters less than the quality of the production plan and where the finished pieces need to go.

Questions sustainability-minded buyers ask
If your organisation has environmental commitments, it helps to settle the specification early. We can discuss FSC-certified stocks, recycled papers and finishes that avoid plastic film where recyclability matters. Our two Heidelberg B2 litho presses have inline coaters, so a water-based coating can protect a piece instead of lamination when that suits the brief.
Getting the format right also reduces waste. A lighter stock or a smaller size can cut paper use and postage, and good data cleansing avoids printing packs for people who have moved or who should not be mailed. We can talk through those choices before you sign off the artwork.
For agencies and charities with national audiences
Bristol agencies can use our white-label trade service under NDA, keeping the client relationship while we handle print, enclosing and mailing in Keighley. Charities can plan appeal packs, supporter magazines and acknowledgement letters with one production team, from data preparation through Buhrs enclosing to Royal Mail Mailmark sortation for eligible UK mail.
Our ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001 certifications cover quality, environmental management and information security. These are often the first questions in a charity or agency supplier review, and we can provide the details your procurement process needs.
