London Printing & Direct Mail, Produced in Yorkshire
If your team is in London but the campaign is going across the country, print production does not have to happen inside the capital. Fretwell makes commercial print, packaging and direct mail at our single factory in Keighley, West Yorkshire. Finished items can be delivered or mailed to their recipients as the brief requires.
We work with print buyers who need a clear production plan for brochures, personalised packs, cartons and other physical communications. We are not claiming a London office or local pressroom: our value is the combination of production capabilities at one Yorkshire site.
Why production outside London can work
A London agency managing a national campaign can send artwork and specifications to a factory that handles the printing and the mailing stages together. Our trade service is unbranded and available under NDA, so an agency can keep the client relationship while the work is produced at Keighley. Share the requirements for the final piece, not just the print file.
We operate a Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 75 B2 litho press and digital presses including Heidelberg Versafire and Konica Minolta AccurioPress. Folding, binding, lamination and specialist finishes are in-house, as are data preparation and Buhrs mail enclosing. Keeping these operations together helps when different pieces in a campaign must be coordinated.
From London brief to national audience
For a London charity, the important destination may be a donor’s letterbox anywhere in the UK. We can discuss appeal components, personalised letters and enclosing, with Royal Mail Mailmark sortation for eligible campaigns. For a brand, a printed mailer or brochure may instead need to arrive at a London team or at multiple destinations.
A national organisation may also have procurement questions. We hold ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and FSC chain-of-custody certification. If your job calls for specific stock, data handling or presentation requirements, make them part of the initial brief so we can say what is practical before production begins.

Getting from London to our printworks
Keighley is roughly 210–230 miles by road from central London, commonly a journey of around four to five hours or more depending on traffic. We do not offer a London collection point: work is produced in Yorkshire and can be discussed for delivery or direct mailing. Remote briefing is a practical starting point.
