Yorkshire Printers for Print, Packaging & Direct Mail
Fretwell has been a Yorkshire printer since 1980, and everything we make is still produced in the county. Our single factory on Goulbourne Street, Keighley brings commercial print, packaging, large format, data processing and direct mail together, serving organisations from the Dales to the coast.
Yorkshire buyers are not short of printers, but few keep every stage of a job in one place. If your project runs from artwork to a finished, posted pack, you can speak to the team that prints, finishes and mails it, and see the work being made if that helps.

Why an in-county production site helps
Being in the same county makes some things practical that are hard to arrange with a distant supplier. You can visit by arrangement to talk through a specification, check a press sheet on a colour-critical job, or collect finished work rather than waiting on a courier. For many jobs none of that is needed, but it is useful to have the option when a launch or event depends on getting it right.
Our Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 75 B2 litho press, Heidelberg Versafire and Konica Minolta AccurioPress digital presses, in-house finishing and Buhrs enclosing lines all sit under one roof. ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001 certification and FSC chain of custody help when a public body or larger organisation in the region asks how work and data are managed.
Serving towns and cities across Yorkshire
We have pages for the places we work with most: Leeds, Bradford, Keighley, Halifax, Huddersfield and Wakefield in West Yorkshire; Harrogate, York and Skipton to the north; and Sheffield in the south. Each covers the kind of briefs we see there. We also work with organisations elsewhere in the county, including the East Riding and the Tees Valley, from the same factory.
Yorkshire organisations often need to reach people well beyond the county. A Leeds charity, a Sheffield manufacturer or a York visitor attraction may all be mailing customers across the UK. Our data team prepares address files, our enclosing lines assemble the packs, and eligible mail is sorted for Royal Mail Mailmark, so a county-based supplier can still run a national campaign.

Getting from Yorkshire to our printworks
Keighley sits in the west of the county. Skipton and Bradford are around 10–12 miles away, Leeds around 20 miles, York and Sheffield roughly 45–55 miles, and Hull or Teesside around 80–90 miles, so journeys range from under half an hour to around two hours depending on route and traffic. All production is at Goulbourne Street, Keighley BD21 1PX. Visits and collections are by arrangement.
Distances and journey times are approximate, not a delivery or turnaround estimate. For a specific job, please discuss the destination and date with our team.
