Print & Direct Mail for Exeter and Devon
Exeter sits at the centre of a county with a strong visitor economy, a reputation for food and drink, an active charity sector and a large university. Those organisations often need print that travels well beyond Devon: a brochure for visitors planning a trip, packaging for a product sold nationally, or an appeal mailed to supporters across the UK. Fretwell produces that work at our factory in Keighley, West Yorkshire.
We are a long way from Devon and have no local office. Most projects with Exeter organisations are briefed remotely, with digital proofs for approval before anything goes to press.

Working with a printer at a distance
Distance does not have to mean less control. We check files for bleed, colour and print suitability and issue a digital proof for approval before production. If colour is critical, say so at the quote stage and we will talk through proofing options. Clear specifications at the start matter more than a visit.
Our Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 75 B2 litho press suits longer runs such as visitor guides, while our digital presses suit shorter or seasonal runs and versions. Folding, saddle stitching, PUR binding and lamination are in-house.
Visitor, product and supporter print
Tourism and hospitality businesses tend to print to the season: guides, leaflets and menus ready before visitors arrive. Food and drink producers may need labels and printed packaging that match the rest of their brand. We print packaging on our litho and digital presses and finish it in-house, with FSC-certified board available.
For charities and the university, addressed mail is often the main channel: appeals, supporter updates or alumni communications. Our data team can prepare the file, print personalised pieces, enclose on Buhrs lines and sort eligible UK mail for Royal Mail Mailmark, so the mailing goes straight into the postal network from Keighley.
