Exciting times at Fretwell Print & Direct Mail, we have just upgraded our main printing press with a new Heidelberg XL75-5+L-C. It offers maximum flexibility thanks to extensive configuration options for the most demanding requirements in commercial, label, and packaging printing.
One of the most exciting features of this new machine is Push to Stop. We can now change jobs fully automated – from the last to the first good sheet, right up until production starts. The patented process- and job-oriented assistance system Intellistart 2 will revolutionize how we change jobs, with efficient job preparation and automatic generation of time-optimized job change programs.
Main Features:
AutoPlate Pro – Plate changing systems ensure precise and fast plate changes. This should save the company around 400hrs per annum
Wallscreen Technology with Push to Stop – Unique in offset printing: fully automated job changing
Inpress Control 2 – The integrated Prinect Inpress Control 2 measurement system measures and controls register and colour inline during production, and by so doing reduces makeready times and waste sheets
Roller Check Assistance – For quicker checking and setting of rollers
