About Fretwell Print and Design
Fretwell Print & Design Ltd was founded in Keighley over 40 years ago and today remains a family owned, independent and financially stable company, providing colour sheetfed print and direct mail services.
Over the last 15 years turnover has grown from less than £1m to over £4m. This has been achieved by a policy of continually investing in the latest technology allied to recruiting the best people in the industry throughout all areas of the business.
The company offers a total solution for print and mailing and is ISO9001:2008, ISO14001, ISO12647-2 and FSC accredited throughout the business.
Our in-house pre-press, print and print finishing services are located on the ground floor of our Keighley factory. Data processing and direct mail facilities are in the lower production area.
Working closely with major financial clients, print management companies, local government and educational establishments plus other commercial clients in various market sectors, Fretwell Print & Design Ltd has grown into a full service print and direct mail company.
As well as controlling all the individual processes we also offer the following added value services data analysis for direct mail, data capture, professional advice for design and production, advice to ensure our customers use the most appropriate and cost saving services for postage discounts either using Royal Mail or Down Stream Access providers.
Printing
We operate three B2 presses in total; one 5 colour machine plus on-line coating, one 4 colour machine and one 2 colour machine, all presses perfect to enable maximum production flexibility.
Finishing
Our in-house finishing department is one of the most comprehensive you might find. Over the years our client base has grown strongly and consequently our print finishing equipment has evolved to suit a wide variety of requirements.
Data Processing
However, simple or complex your project is, our data processing team can deliver fast, accurate and comprehensive results. These include standard processes such as de-duplication, multi de-dupe, case conversion, Postal Address Validation/Correction, Mailsort and Walksort.
Laser Printing
Our cut sheet laser printing facilities allow production of high quality resolution (600 dpi) personalised documents and targeted mailpieces.
We operate eight lasers which give a wide choice in terms of cost, speed and flexibility of production and schedules.
Machine Enclosing
Our enclosing lines allow us to enclose up to 8 items into anything from C6 to C4 outer envelopes. These are fitted with specialist feeders, which enable us to handle items with a leading edge at the side (landscape printed products for example) as well as normally non-machine enclosable items such as sachets or DVD’s.
